Some hotels are architectural art objects and centers of attraction, but there are those that simply fit into the environment to highlight the beauty of nature. Hotel Palm in Sri Lanka is just one of them. The main building of the hotel is made of glass and metal, which contrasts with the white colonial villas popular in the area. Guests live in lovely A-shaped houses surrounded by banana and coconut trees. Inside there is a minimalistic interior with rattan and concrete furniture. The room only has a bed, wardrobe, washbasin and a couple of armchairs, and at the back of the cabin there is an outdoor rain shower. The pool has a cafe and a lounge area with swings, and instead of sun loungers, there are mats and umbrellas on the grass. At the same time, there is no abundance of tiles or artificial stone, the owners of the hotel have preserved the lawn and palm forest as much as possible – and this perfectly immerses in the relaxed atmosphere of the tropics.!
