This little one-room apartment area of 32 sq. m in a typical panel house in Moscow was inherited by the owners from their parents, but the standard distribution of space did not suit them at all. With the help of designer Igor Kurkin, who completely rethought the functional areas without changing the layout, it was possible to fill the interior with light and air, and make it much more suitable for the needs of the owners. So, the only living room in the apartment now performs the function of both the living room and the bedroom – the zones are conditionally separated by a bookcase. A great way to decorate a typical home!
