After the great popularity of the apartment for a single man in Samara, which we wrote about at the beginning of the year, we decided to tell you about another wonderful project of a wonderful design studio Enjoy Home. This time we have a story about a very bright two-room apartment in Moscow with an area of about 60 sq. m, made in warm colors. Happy viewing!
This apartment was designed specifically for renting, so the task was to make it as comfortable as possible, light and fairly neutral, not very feminine, but at the same time not masculine, since a young couple will presumably live in it. The customer, buying an apartment, immediately thought about how to turn a one-room apartment into a full-fledged two-room one. And only after the designer said that the task was quite feasible, she issued a deal.
I was lucky with the layout, since the kitchen had a common wall with the room and communications did not have to be laid through the entire apartment. The bedroom was arranged on the site of the former kitchen, and the living room, dining room and kitchen area was placed in the room. At the same time, there was a large hall and a bathroom with a huge utility closet..
A massive oak plank covered with oil was used on the floor. Its plus is that even if something happens to it with careless handling, it can always be polished. The walls were painted in a light vanilla shade, again with the idea that they could be easily updated if necessary
The main task was to make the apartment functional and comfortable, and also to keep within the budget. It didn’t make sense to invest a lot of money, but nevertheless the quality shouldn’t have suffered. In total, all repairs (from the stage of concrete walls) and furniture cost 2 million rubles.
In the bedroom, they decided to use a combination of light gray and bright yellow to create the feeling of an eternal sun in the room. And the same technique as in the living room – two strips of wallpaper with a vertical pattern. Here is no longer cocoa, but a huge dill. And instead of paintings or photographs above the headboard, there is a composition of mirrors. There are many of them in this apartment!
The main advantage of the bathroom is the high-quality plumbing from Villeroy.&Bosch and indestructible mixers from Hansgrohe. And again there is a large mirror and a closet to the ceiling with glass doors, which hides a washing machine, a water heater and all the household stuff. Accessories – ZaraHome.
