Few of the residents of the small town of Henley, 45 minutes from London, could have imagined that an old 100-year-old barn could look like this. A few years ago, an architect McLaren Excell created a real miracle – from an ugly duckling, the building has turned into a magnificent example of modern architecture or simply into a very stylish modern housing. The ground floor is completely open plan, with massive wooden beams on the ceilings, and huge industrial windows letting in as much daylight as possible. On the upper level there is a cozy attic bedroom and a bathroom. Unique and memorable home!
