Architectural firm Rolf Ockert Desing recently unveiled a spectacular oceanfront residence in Sydney to the public. This villa was built on the site of a small cottage where the owners lived for a long time. The unusual layout of the house and the most open structure allowed natural light to abundantly illuminate the premises throughout the day, while closing it from neighboring houses. The location of the house with difficult climatic conditions, strong winds and salty air played an important role in the choice of materials. As for the interior, it is made in a modern style, and the color palette is inspired by the rich environment – coastal rocks, sky and water. And, of course, most importantly, the amazing ocean views through the all-glass walls. A great place for a measured life in a picturesque suburb!
