“The mood of this interior is cleanliness and serenity with a touch of pastel shades,” photographer Jane Baileys describes her Connecticut home. Jane’s family moved into this house with a fabulous facade from a huge mansion, they wanted the new home to be smaller and more interesting. So the cottage built in 1916 turned into a bright and cozy family nest. The owners admit that the most difficult thing was to strike a balance between modernity and the rustic atmosphere of the last century. In the end, they coped with the task perfectly: the house has new furniture and decoration, however, thanks to a large number of plants and cute little things, it is homely cozy here. It’s amazing how they managed to make this interior simple and light and at the same time carefully thought out, where all the objects are combined with each other. Great project!
