We really love the stories of large-scale renovations, because such houses have a special atmosphere. Previously, in this barn in Spain, hay was stored and equipment was parked, but now it is a wonderful suburban House. New windows were made in the building and decorated with shutters, a veranda and a balcony were constructed, and most importantly, the interior space was completely transformed. They did not abandon wooden ceilings and stone walls – this is both the history of the house and strong materials that will last for many years. The goal was to create coziness and get rid of the barn image. And we think it turned out just fine. Wood complements natural materials and light colors, while modern furniture matches both old walls and vintage décor!
