Contest Winner Announced!
I am now announcing the winner of our first photography contest. The Westcott Studio Kit goes to forum member Strange Pilgrim. Here’s the image. I LOVE the light and motion in this image. It stood out to me as soon as it was posted in the contest thread.

I would like to thank the awesome group of photographers who helped with the judging. We had the Triple D squad of David Hobby, David Bergman, and David Beckstead. I had them pick their top three favorites in order of first place, second place, and third place. I then picked first place based on their first place choices. For the record, I chose the number one pick from David Bergman’s number one choice. I was really hoping this image would be in the top three and it made it to number one! Here is a gallery of all the images entered in the contest.
Judging contests are one of the hardest things to do. I want to thank David, David, and David for taking time out of their massively busy schedules to pick their top three. The other top three’s? I’ll make a post in the forum about those!
